2024 Colorguard Camp

The Million Dollar Band Colorguard Camp is designed for high school students who have a passion for spinning! Our camp offers students the opportunity to work with the coaches and members of the world-renowned Million Dollar Band Colorguard and the 2024 WGI Independent Open silver medal winner Alta Marea Winterguard.

The camp will offer instruction in beginning, intermediate, and advanced flag, rifle, saber, and movement. Participants will be able to choose the equipment and level for which they wish to participate. Additionally, sessions on leadership along with preparing for a competition will be offered. This camp is perfect for instructors and sponsors as well.

Students who have just completed 8th – 12th grade are eligible to attend.

Colorguard Camp Costs
$120 for the two days!

What to Bring

• Comfortable /summer clothes – what you would wear to guard rehearsal
• Jazz shoes or athletic shoes
• All participants must bring a flag
• Rifle or saber if you plan on taking weapon classes
• Notebook and pencil for notes during classes
• Reusable water bottles
• Some classes maybe outdoors
• Sunglasses
• Hats
• Sunscreen
• Insect spray
• IMPORTANT:  you will receive a Crimson Camp t-shirt as part of your registration fee.  Please save this shirt to wear on Saturday for Friends and Family performance and group photos.  Along with your camp t-shirt, please have a pair of black shorts for Saturday’s performance and pics.
• It is possible the Friends and Family performance will be outside.  You may want to advise anyone coming to this performance to bring lawn chairs.

YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT.  NO COLORGUARD EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED.
